Dr. Parker is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who has spent over fifteen years working with children, adolescents and adults in a variety of treatment settings including outpatient clinics, private practice, residential facilities, and foster care programs. She specializes in treating children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorders, ADHD, and those who have experienced trauma, abuse, and loss. Dr. Parker has also worked with teenagers on bullying, cutting, and self-esteem issues. Her work also includes treating adults with a variety of issues including grief and loss, relationship problems, adjustment difficulties and stress associated with daily life events such as parenting, chronic illness, and career development. Dr. Parker believes in an eclectic approach to treatment utilizing a variety of methods to create a treatment program that caters to each client's unique needs. Regardless of presenting issues or diagnosis, she believes that a strong therapeutic relationship is critical in the success of any treatment by creating a safe environment for each client.
Dr. Parker earned a Master's in Counseling Psychology as well as a Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from Immaculata University. She also currently works as the Clinical Director for a large behavioral health program and serves as an evaluating psychologist for children to determine need for Behavioral Health Rehabilitative Services. Her passion is supporting and educating teams and/or families about a person's diagnosis so that treatment is meaningful, supportive, and clinically responsible.
