Stephanie is a Licensed Professional Counselor who specializes in working with adults, adolescents and families impacted by the disease of addiction and other co-occurring disorders. She also specializes in treating individuals suffering with anxiety, depression, PTSD, trauma, Bi- Polar disorder and grief and loss. Stephanie is certified in TREM, The Trauma Recovery and Empowerment model to working with women who have survived abuse and are battling addiction. She also has significant experience working with victims of domestic violence. Stephanie’s clients have ranged in their demographics including ages from adolescents to older adults and various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. Stephanie’s work experience includes working as a clinical counselor at a residential treatment facility, and as a Clinical Director for a Drug and alcohol facility.
Stephanie received her Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Capella University in Minnesota. She adopts an eclectic approach to therapy which allows her to meet individuals where they are and approach them in a nurturing and empathetic manner. This in turn helps to foster a feeling safety, without judgement which creates a space to do the work necessary toward healing and fulfillment. In, her spare time Stephanie enjoys cooking, running, hiking, traveling and spending time with her three sons, family and friends.
