Matthew Pinnel is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with experience in issues related to trauma, behavioral health, mental health, family conflict, parenting challenges, relationship concerns, anxiety, depression, and family attachment. Matthew has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in individual, couples, and family therapy.
Matthew earned his Master’s at Holy Family University in Counseling Psychology with a focus on Marriage and Family Therapy. Matthew has worked in a variety of settings including community mental health, day programs, and family based services. Matthew has extensive training in Mental Health First Aid and providing intensive in-home therapy to family and children challenged with emotional and behavioral difficulties. He is a clinical member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT).
Matthew is focused on creating a genuine, collaborative, safe, and non-judgmental space for individuals, families, and couples. He utilizes a systemic and strength based approach with an emphasis on navigating transitions while recognizing the potential for growth and positive change.
