Jennifer Guido is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist specializing in treating sexual and intimacy issues, trauma, sexual abuse and victimization, family conflict, family reunification, depression, anxiety, grief and loss. She has extensive experience in working with teenagers, families, and couples to address both individual and relational issues.
Jennifer has worked in a variety of settings, including inpatient/residential programs, outpatient mental health agencies, and private practice settings. She earned her Masters degree in Clinical Counseling Psychology from LaSalle University. She is a clinical member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT). Currently, Jennifer is a Supervisor in Training with AAMFT, and is supervising student interns and MFT licensee candidates. Jennifer is also a clinical member of the Association for Treatment of Sexual Abusers (ATSA).
No matter the reason for beginning therapy, Jennifer believes in creating a comfortable and safe setting with a non-judgmental approach. She uses a systemic approach, which means that in order to treat the individual it is important to look at their life in the context of their family and relationships.
